A little while back I wrote an article about ‘coming out as a COUGAR’… loving the freedom and acceptance by many of my friends, has empowered me even more so.

I am a regular party girl and go out quite a bit and have noticed this time round from a COUGAR’S view that men are gravitating towards me with a very different attitude.  Maybe because I am content and proud to be a COUGAR.  The cubs are more open fun flirty friendly and go with the flow of any conversation thrown at them.  However, the men not in the ‘cub category’ seem more hesitant, cautious, and very closed within their conversations.  So perhaps, yet again, let’s visit this COUGAR hype and rid all the notions of perhaps a COUGAR is just an ‘older woman’ trying to devour every younger man she can get her hands on.  That is ‘old’ school and definitely a myth.  I myself know that I’m not attracted to cubs or older men with different personality traits to mine.

So with my continuous discovery and adventures in the real COUGAR world… a COUGAR has a certain personality trait which attracts a man (in any age catergory) and vice versa.  A COUGAR is a woman who is young in the heart, playful, adventurous, open to new creativeness, extremely sexual, takes care of her mind and body, and who is complete about knowing and loving exactly who she is and where she fits in her world.  With these qualities and her mindset she will attract the same in return.  Age makes no difference.  Personality traits are what COUGARS possess that makes us so attractive to men (in any age category).

Having said that, I personally do not ‘hunt’ younger men in particular.  I am out and about and like to explore and get to know all men in all age categories.  But one thing that really stands out for me is that the men not in the ‘cub category’ are just way to mellow for my personality traits.  So when a young cub tickles me mentally, I am about to explore this adventure further.  It’s about connecting on a different level of having fun being open and going on an adventure with all the thrills spills and yep without the hang ups too.  Going with the flow and enjoying the ride and the moment.

Recently visiting Sydney I met an extremely unique character, yes a cub and a gorgeous 34 year old.  Having only briefly connecting via facebook prior to going to Sydney we actually met in person.  Our eyes met for the first time.  I felt this amazing overwhelming feeling that this guy was very different to anything else that I’ve ever met before.  It was a feeling that we have crossed paths before and knew that he was something special.  His cheekiness, flirtatious ways and his charm drew me in even more.  My last night in Sydney was spent with him in his apartment having drinks together with a couple of other friends.  During the whole time every time we looked into each other’s eyes I felt something very very unique and different.  Every time he sat next to me on the couch, I could feel tingles and shivers throughout my whole body, and we hadn’t even touched yet.  I knew he felt the same way.  Eventually, he took my hand and led me into his bedroom.  The touches, the passion, the kisses were so real.  It still sends tingles and shivers all over my body just thinking about it.  It felt like I connected with ‘the one’.

Today, we keep in touch on a regular basis by phone or facebook and have built a friendship.  Deep inside, yes I have been hit hard and definitely smitten like never before by him.  However, this is where a COUGAR, sees it as a reality check.  He lives in Sydney and runs his business there. I live in Melbourne and have three children.  My point is that as a COUGAR we have the mental maturity not to chase, put pressure, break their balls and scream as to why why why it can’t work.  Instead, being thankful for such an experience and having met someone totally unique and awesome who still wants to share your world.  Yet another strong personality trait, as to why cubs are so attracted to COUGARS.

Time and time again, young cubs will come up to me and ask me out and actually want to be in the pleasure of my company.  When I ask them why aren’t you out meeting girls your own age and younger, their answers are always the same.  They are attracted to our personality traits as mentioned above, and most of all, and is echoed by every single cub, we don’t break their balls. We go with the flow and yet again enjoy the moment.

Oh and don’t ever think for one moment that I still don’t get questioned, joked over and frowned upon by ‘older men’ as to why I keep dating cubs.  Today, I smirk a little and allow them to have their say, because in all fairness, they will never see or feel the world as I do through my eyes.  Then it becomes a huge smile knowing that there are cubs out there that see and feel the world as I do.  It’s also funny when I’m heading out on a date, the first thing my daughters ask me is ‘how old is he?’… and when I tell them a cub age, they get excited and tell me to go out have fun and ROCK IT!!…

I even knew as a little girl, that when I grew up…. I always had it in me and wanted to be a COUGAR!!!!
